The perfect marriage of luxury and history, perfection and provenance, superyacht and schooner. Experience Columbia: A faithful homage to the great Grand Banks Fishing Schooner of 1924, reborn in the magnificent Schooner Yacht Columbia of 2014.

Accommodation

Boasting a spacious salon bar and four double ensuite staterooms, Columbia’s guests are commodiously accommodated below decks until it’s time to get out and enjoy the view on deck. Her beautiful lines and gleaming brightwork compliment her soaring rig and the breathtaking vista of her sails: the stage is set to see and be seen.

Columbia’s decks are impressively wide and spacious with seating throughout for dining, lounging, napping or hanging out. An awning provides optional shade over most of the deck, usually the provenance of the sun worshippers, meaning everyone can enjoy the fresh air and sea views.

Coming down the main companionway you’ll find Captain’s quarters to starboard and a day head to port before you enter the main salon. A fully equipped bar with wine fridge, ice maker and mini fridge welcomes you to starboard, to port the gorgeous tiger maple and gold leaf main dining table seats 10-12, its counterpart on the starboard side is a matching junior size seating 4-6 which can be raised or lowered to be a coffee table, dining table or bar.

Both settees offer comfortable views of the large TV installed over the inlaid digital fireplace. The rest of the forward aspect opens onto a family-style open vista galley.

Through the galley and forward runs the main corridor, a glittering avenue of brass and varnish with a high butterfly hatch offering plenty of natural light. The engine room is aft and to port before the master suite opens up opens up on the port side with the second cabin to starboard. Both feature spacious double bunks with optional flush-set Pullmans.

Forward again and the other two ensuite cabins lead off on port and starboard, each with a double bunk and fitted upper single bunk.

Though Columbia is listed for 8 guests, there is certification in place to accommodate 4 more on the Pullman and upper bunks. Sleeping arrangements would make it most likely that these 4 additional guests would be young children of the people sleeping in the bunk below.

All cabins have shower and head ensuite facilities, along with TVs with a video library installed, full media connectivity and speakers. A deep deck prism in each overhead provides plentiful natural light during the day.

Past a dividing door further forward finds you in the crew quarters with laundry and ensuite facilities, along with 12 bunks in the focsle with crew mess, mini fridge and storage.
