Ivanhoe first came to the Mediterranean in the sixties to take part in a series of races in Greece in which King Constantine participated before returning to the north of Europe.
In 1989 she was auctioned at Sotheby’s in London to a new Spanish owner who moved her to Palma. From 1990 to 92 she underwent an extensive refit in which apart from the hull, everything was pretty well renewed, special attention being paid to ease of sail handling.
More recently Ivanhoe has taken part, among others, in the classic yacht regatta Trofeo Conde de Barcelona ( being outright winner in 1992 and 1994),
