ALZAVOLA, formerly Grace 3, was launched in 1924 from the outstanding shipyard of Philip & Son in Dartmouth, England. She was built from the best quality Rangoon Teak on Kent white oak. Honduras Mahogany was chosen for the interior furniture.
She has been lovingly owned by the same Italian family since 1964 and since then has competed successfully at many classic regattas. She has crossed the Atlantic and back and spent several years in the Caribbean and South American Waters.
The present generation of the family undertook a major refit of Alzavola in 2000/2003 at the Del Carlo yard in Viareggio where she was completely up dated with modern systems, communications and equipment. She is now for the first time available for charter for those who would like to experience classic sailing at it’s best.
