The Alondra of London, an 60 ft aft cockpit sloop was designed by the world famous Philip Rhodes, completed in 1965 , totally teak(!) by famous yacht builder Cheoy Lee in Hong Kong.
She was built for an American entrepreneur who used her for many regatta’s in the US, Antigua and Caribbean waters. Today, after 40 years and circumnavigating the world twice she has not lost any of her original splendour and with her gracious lines she belongs even now to the most beautifully sailing yachts ever built.
Alondra is fully MCA certified to charter and give the experienced or inexperienced sailor the opportunity to sail on board a beautiful classic yacht.
Alondra is presently cruising in the amazing area of Phuket (Tailand) & Lankawi (Malaysia).
